Editorial Roles & Standards
The Editorial Board of GTS Press is responsible for maintaining the technical and ethical standards of our journals.
Editor-in-Chief (EIC)
Holds ultimate accountability for the journal's scientific direction and technical integrity. Establishes the high-level scope of the journal, appoints board members, and makes the final determination on high-impact manuscripts.
Associate Editors
Subject matter specialists who oversee the peer review process for specific manuscripts within their niche expertise. Their primary responsibility is to identify and invite expert peer reviewers, evaluate their feedback, and provide publication recommendations to the EIC.
Editorial Board Members
Esteemed researchers who serve as active peer reviewers and ambassadors for the journal. They provide critical evaluations of manuscripts, advise the EIC on editorial policies, and help maintain the highest standards of scientific rigor.
Integrated Editorial Workflow
A transparent, multi-stage process to ensure every manuscript is evaluated with the utmost rigor.
Submission & Initial Screening
1 – 2 WeeksManuscripts are submitted through the portal. The editorial office conducts a technical audit, verifying plagiarism scores and scope alignment before proceeding.
Double-Blind Peer Review & Revision
8 – 10 WeeksAssociate Editors assign external reviewers. Following thorough evaluation, authors receive detailed feedback and submit a revised manuscript along with a rebuttal letter.
Final Validation & Acceptance
2 – 3 WeeksThe Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors evaluate the revised manuscript to ensure all concerns are addressed. A final decision on acceptance is then made.
Production & Publication
8 – 10 WeeksAccepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, typesetting, and formatting. A permanent DOI is assigned, and the final article is published online.
Board Governance Policies
All editorial decisions are independent, evidence-based, and governed by the following strict policies.
- Editorial board members are appointed for a fixed term of 3 years, renewable upon performance review.
- Conflict of interest disclosure is mandatory for every handled manuscript. Editors cannot handle manuscripts from their own institutions.
- The Editor-in-Chief holds ultimate accountability and has the absolute right to reject any manuscript that fails to meet scientific or ethical standards.
- All editorial decisions are evidence-based, final, and recorded in the GTS Press integrity ledger.
