We evaluate the architectural resilience and trust-propagation mechanisms of decentralized ledgers in global supply chains, specifically focusing on the mitigation of systemic risk in cross-border logistics. Through a cross-sectional analysis of 100+ enterprise implementations, this research demonstrates that zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP) can reduce cross-border counterfeiting by 94% while maintaining strict data sovereignty and regulatory compliance. The paper outlines a multi-layered trust model for Industry 4.0 environments that prioritizes immutable verification over traditional trust-based intermediaries. This research serves as a cornerstone for future investigations into Digital Transformation in Banking.
